History: In March of 2008, God gave Highest Praise Family Church a vision to start a satellite church in New Port Richey, Florida. From that vision grew Impact Family Ministries that began operating at 6416 Delaware, New Port Richey, Fl in November of 2008. During the two and half years in New Port Richey,FL The ministry of Impact focused on reaching out to the many homeless men and women in the New Port Richey area as well as others in need within the community. A Church Service was offered on Sunday morning and transportation was provided for those who needed a way to the service. On Thursday morning, Manna Feast was developed to offer a breakfast meal and a devotional service to the many homeless in the area. A need was quickly recognized to provide a shower facility for the homeless also. The men of Highest Praise Family Church designed and built a portable shower trailer that has provided hundreds of showers to the homeless men and women in New Port Richey. Saturday morning the Church was open again for a meal and the opportunity for those who needed help to obtain food and clothing. Many in the local community became a regular part of this Saturday Morning ministry. The need for a “Cold Night Shelter” was also recognized and Impact Family Ministries was asked to fill that role in the winter of 2008. With the help of Bay News 9 and other news agencies, Impact Family Ministries became the leader in Homeless ministry in New Port Richey. We are grateful to the many individuals, businesses, and organizations that supported the Ministry in so many ways. It has truly been a joint effort of all those who have a compassion for the homeless and all those who are in need.
Present: Impact Family Ministries continues to minister to homeless men and women and those in need of food and clothing at our new larger location at 5533 River Gulf Rd. in Port Richey,FL. Impact offers church services Thursday and Sunday morning as well hot showers and a hot meal on Thursday and Saturday. Food and Clothing are available on Saturday morning. As we continue this work in Port Richey,FL , We invite individuals and businesses to partner with us .
Vision: It is the vision of Impact Family Ministries to positively impact the spiritual, emotional, and physical lives of the homeless, and those who are in need, in the Southwest Pasco communities.
